Kedah


Laksa Beras.
‘Laksa beras’ is not a common laksa and rarely found at anywhere which originated at Kedah. They are using ‘kebob laksa’ in making laksa beras. By eating this food, people will be satisfied with the taste. Its gravy similar to laksa penang which using fish as their main dish.The more use of fish, the tastier the food will be.



Serawa Pisang.
Serawa pisang or Kedahan will call 'seqawa'.
Serawa is the type of sweet dessert. Wedding ceremony usually serve serawa as the dessert.
People always mistaken serawa as porridge (haha).
This dessert normally use bananas but also can use sweet potatoes.



Apam Lenggang.
This food is kind of traditional because it rarely sell in the market or stall. My grandmother always make this as our teatime or breakfast. It has nothing inside, just use flour and sugar but the taste is so delicious and feel the sweetness. I can eat them a lot without realizing how much i take it.




Kuih Karas
Kuih Karas is another famous dessert found in Kedah.
The delicacy is crispy and sweet to taste.
Visitors can come across Kuih Karas in almost ant stall and markets around Kedah.
